Join USOD for a summer of learning fun! This opportunity will enrich and expand your child’s learning experiences. USOD’s summer enrichment program provides the following benefits:
- Addresses two areas of greatest learning loss in students with Down syndrome during the summer months – math & reading
- Provides theme-based activities that focus on reading, math, fine motor skills, movement, speech, music, healthy snack creations and more
- Ensures a quality experience for each child; instruction is individualized to meet each child’s specific needs
- Helps build confidence and social skills through positive interactions with peers, the teach, and quality volunteers
Summer 2019 Schedule:
- Preschool: Thursdays – 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
- June 20, 27, July 11, 18 & 25
- PLEASE NOTE that the Preschool Session is for children that are in preschool or entering preschool in the fall.
- Kindergarten: Tuesdays – 10:00 am to noon
- June 18, 25, July 9, 16 & 23
- School Age: Wednesdays (2 sessions) – 9:30 am -11:30 am OR 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
- June 19, 26, July 3, 10, & 17
